Our speaker is Awais Rashid, Professor of Cyber Security in the School of Computer Science at Bristol University.

His work focuses on protecting complex systems like industrial control systems and the Internet of Things (IoT)β€”the networks that connect everything from smart home devices to critical infrastructure. He also studies how criminals adapt their methods online, and how we can stay one step ahead.

Professor Rashid leads national research projects on both the technical and human sides of cybersecurity, and is a Fellow of the Alan Turing Institute. Expect an engaging, real-world look at the challenges and solutions shaping our digital future.
