September 8th: Robot history

Our speaker is Alan Winfield, Professor of Robot Ethics at the department of Engineering, Design and Mathematics at the University of the West of England.

From ancient automata to present day concerns about robot malfunctions and ethics, Alan will present a fascinating look at how robots have developed, and are continuing to develop.
